Chongqing Free Trade Port Area has been dedicated into developing bonded processing for more than 5 years since setup, has placed the priority into building notebook computer industry cluster and continuously expanded product processing industry as per the deployment by Chongqing City Government; meanwhile it also expands processing industries, including gold jewelry, precise instrument and clothing, Bonded processing size has been improved quickly and industrial value has been successfully presented.

   The Free Trade Port Area has preliminarily set up a bonded processing and production base for notebook computer based electronic information industry. Acer and Asus, both famous brands have been settled in the Area. Now, top 500 ODM manufacturers: Compals, Pegatron and Wistron have been settled in the bonded processing area, where total 49 assembly production lines have been arranged and 31 SMT lines are under operation. Annual production capacity is up to 35 million sets.

   Except notebook computer industry, 7 gold processing enterprises have been invited to settle in the bonded processing area and 2 of them are into the operation. High end and international clothing process projects have been successfully invited, covering the area of 63Mu approximately. The total building area has been planned as 50,000.00m2. The project will be commenced for construction in 2014 and it’s estimated to reach annual output value of 1 billion Yuan after construction.
