It covers an area of 33.83 km2 and is connected to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. It consists of four parts, namely the Special Customs Supervision Zone, industrial supporting area, business supporting area and residential area.
Its priorities are bonded logistics, international trade, bonded processing and service outsourcing.

Special Customs Supervision Zone
It covers an area of 5.94 km2, and mainly provides bonded processing and aviation logistics services for high value-added and time-sensitive high-tech industries such as IT, bio-pharmaceutical, medical equipment, and photovoltaic industry.
The zone is seamlessly linked with the cargo apron of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport by a 800-meter dedicated lane; and it’s connected to Chongqing Tuanjiecun Rail Cargo Center, the starting point of the “Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe” railway, by a specially dedicated rail line.

Industrial Supporting Area
With an area of 11.89 km2, it is focused on extending the industrial chain to R&D and design upwards and to maintenance and technical service downwards, so as to form a processing and industrial chain to support the port.
Business Supporting Area
With an area of 1 km2, it relies on the industrial chain based on the combination of bonded service and non-bonded aviation trade, so as to build a supporting business sytem.
Residential Area
It covers 14 km2. By 2015, 2.6 million m2 of residential floor space for workers and 2 million m2 of public rental housing will be built, to accommodate more than 300,000 people.
The completed part of the residential area is equipped with sufficient infrastructure and social services, and is traffic-convenient and commuter-friendly with two public transit hubs and two metro lines No.3 and No.14.
